UGH my upstairs neighbor is such a FREAKKKK, why are you up at 3:30 AM stomping around and taking bubble baths. I hear it alllll the time. The sound of a tub full of water being drained followed by excessive stomping all over the place. YOU SUCKKKKK!!! I finally ran into him this morning too, he even looks creepy. why is my apartment surrounded by weirdos? yeah, lady that feeds the strays, and neighbor that chains the baby seat to the stairway! 

Now I'm wide awake... this is the latest I've stayed up in a long time. I was plannnningg to wake up at 7 am to study but that seems unlikely now..................... *annoyed

This was supposed to be a long post but I just ran 10 miles and nothing seems to be working right now. This morning I woke up and literally jumped out of bed because I had so much energy. Maybe it was because I got 7 hours of sleep but mainly it was because I got my 3rd year schedule the night before! 

BOOM! I'm super excited. Although I wanted medicine before surgery I don't think it really matters in the long run. I'm partly motivated by fear though, because that actually means I need to know what I'm talking about when they pimp me. 

I feel like I had more to say but I need to zone out now.

 This post is dedicated entirely to my hair haha. I went through a perm phase last semester when I thought I really wanted a digital perm but I decided I didn't want to put my hair through all that damage. Then I had an ombre phase... but I finally did it. So it came out more blond then intended but the whole process took so long that I didn't ask her to leave it in longer. She kept saying "you have so much hair!!" She bleached my hair for 2 hoursss and then dyed it "toffee" and then trimmed an inch off and layered the front. The same haircut I've been rocking since 10th grade. Anywayyy I still luv it and she said I could come back another day to darken the middle so its more of a gradient. I like how the ends look in the light, makes me feel happier haha, maybe blonds do have more fun. But also my mom is going to kill me haha 

I just needed a change, girls tend to do that I guess. As if chopping off 6 inches of hair or coloring it makes you a different person. Sometimes you just need to start over :) Also I would definitely not be able to do this next year, it may be too crazy for rotations....

My hair doesn't seem damaged or dry yet. At least I can always cut off the ends if I don't like it.

 

The color really depends on the lighting, these pics on my DSLR made it look more copper/orange. But at least me and charlie have the same color hair now!

Weirdo

So yesterday while eating with some friends at the Cove I received a phone call from a 281 number. I picked up cause I didn't have the number saved and it was a Houston area code. The following conversation ensued....

BBD: Hello?
me: hello...?
BBD: Who is this?
me: uhh I don't know, who is this?! 
BBD: I got a text from this number
me: uh I didn't text you.. What did the text say?
BBD: It said.. ....*mumble muble*
me: wait it said whatttt?
BBD: IT SAID that you were PREGNANT
me: WHAT THE! NO definitely not NOO (I'm sure all the color drained from my face at this point) 
me: uhh uhhhhhhhhh no no no I think you have the wrong number 
BBD: well you texted me ............... 

Anyway I think I was so flustered I just hung up on him and he called me back right after, but I was so confused I just ignored it. So I feel bad for this guy, who might now be a baby daddy or maybe the girl that is pregnant text the wrong dude..... if that is the case, it explains a lot. Also, BBD stands for big black dude... not tryna be racist but he sounded like it.....  My friends could obviously see that I was taken aback and when I told them we all had a good laugh... hahah 

Yesterday I went to the anberlin concert at backstage live. Pretty cool place for SA, but the crowd was mostly high school kids, although I prob fit right in cause at the door they asked how old I was and the bouncer dude thought I was under 21 forsure. My favorite songs from them are Art of War and Impossible, which they played neither. I loveee going to concerts though and I managed to weasel my way to the front of the crowd haha. Then afterwards I went to a bday partayy for a friend :) and we sang the night away.

Picked rotations today for 3rd year, after an hour my head was spinning. Even though the 2 paths lead to the same outcome I agonized over the survey wayy longer than I needed to. I ended up choosing:

Internal Med

Surgery 

• Surgical Oncology
• Transplant
• Anesthesiology 

Elective (er researchhh?!?!)

3 week vaycayyyy with the fam!

Psych 

This is all assuming I pass my step and don't fail any classes this year *crosses fingers* hahhh..................................
