Missing Pieces

After a week of racing to finish a 3 ft long puzzle me and linnie found out we were missing a piece..

Our solution?? Place a piece of paper of the corresponding color underneath the puzzle to fill in the gaping hole. We are okay with that :P

Linnie has also been helping me... er rather nagging me to finish packing/cleaning/organizing my stuff. We had a conversation that went like this...

me: so what should I do with my baby jesus?
linnie: is that what baby jesus looks like??
me: uh how am I supposed to know...
linnie: just throw it away I guess
me: wait can I ?!?!!
linnie: ..*silent pondering*.... yeah I don't think you should throw away baby jesus

This past week I wished one of my oldest, closest friends farewell as she starts her new life in SEATTLE! Land of H&M's and cloudy days. GOOD LUCK lovely!

Why is Zara always so on point? I wish I could pull off all of their lookbooks, but fortunately this dress seems to compliment any figure. Tight bodice (sometimes a bit too snug, after a plate of kimchi fries, sweetheart neckline, pockets again... Anyway now I am compiling a list of things to pack for VEGAS!! I am uber excited for the WYNN buffet, and party hardy with my big sis and a posse of other girls for the most wild bachelorette party EVAR!

500 Days

PEEKTURES! yay 2nd blog post in a row. Today started with scanning a bajillion pictures from old albums and cooking a late breakfast/lunch of grilled lemon herb chicken, broccoli, and mushrooms.. Sorry no pics of the food to prove that I actually cooked and ate it. I actually ate pretty healthy today, at least compared to other days where I eat out breakfast, lunch, and dinner..and dessert :/

This is my lil sis and bam bam!.. she (my sister) normally doesn't look this weird :P

Bam officially has a collar! bam bam is finally claimed.. even though it took us a whole year, hopefully we never lose her, all hell would break loose. We were so mesmerized by the laser engraving machine at petsmart haha. Then after we got home getting the tag on was... painful to say the least. WHY an S hook? I attempted to secure it through hammering and finally using some pliers in creative ways.

Anyhoooo... I rewatched 500 days of summer again the other day, for the 4th time, quite possibly my most favorite movie. I can't help but fawn over summer's (zooey deschanel) outfits. They're so feminine and delicate with such unique details. I guess it really does take a certain figure and personality to pull off outfits such as hers. I wouldn't say my style falls under this category, but I like to have pieces like this in my closet, and pull them on everytime I want to feel like a housewife.. JK... although they have a bit of a housewife feel to them.

So, my version of her style.

Knee length? check
Simple silhouette? check
Details in the oversized bows? check
Pockets? :( sadly no... I was pretending I had pockets in my pictures haha

Dress: Anthropologie
Belt: Asos
Wedges: Zara

I tried the dress with about 5 different belts, thick, skinny, neutral, braided, but all to no avail. I finally whipped out this bright bow belt that I ordered from asos some time ago and it seemed like an interesting detail to add. Idk belt or no belt? It was fun to wear it around town. I've mentioned before I like to dress up when I don't feel particularly good. It's a nice pick me up.

Toodles!

Overdue

yayy, blogspot actually let me upload my pictures this time! This post has been longg overdue. I wore this outfit out with my good friend morris, better known as the one who perfected the hoverhand :P to eat at a food truck called... oh my gogi. They're known for their kimchi fries, which I must admit are delish... but sure to cause a heart attack haha

Shirt: Gap, they're totally having a sale right now and I love their super soft v-necks
Shorts: AE
Flats: Gap city flats
Necklace: Anthropologie, I usually never find anything in anthropologie but jewerly? yes please haha

My new favorite necklace! My only complaint would be the length though, wish it was a bit longer.

Anthropologie, Banana Republic, and Forever21

I have a penchant for necklaces with stones or unique looking chains.

Today I packed a quite a bit and it felt exhilarating! I can finally walk around my room without stepping around/over things scattered on the floor. I now have a box labeled kitchen/bath/bed, winter clothes, and work clothes :) It makes me feel like my life is finally sorting itself out.

Normalcy

Finally back to blogging. It has been difficult adjusting back to normal. My sleep schedule was pretty wack for awhile, but I'm no longer nocturnal anymore :) Wore my gray leopard shorts for the first time yesterday. They're really silky and roomy. I love the pockets and the clasp zipper in the back. They look better worn high-waisted, so I tucked in my shirt, but I think it'd be cool with a body suit as well.

Shirt : Loft
Shorts : Urbanoutfitters
Wedges : Zara
Necklace : Forever21

My cousin and I made a wedding veil yesterday and it looks awesome!! DIY is so fun haha Pictures later.
