As much as I've been missing home I will be sad to leave. This month has felt like a dream. Once I go home will I still be as productive, adventurous, social? Unlike last summer I am out of my element here, away from friends, family, and significant other. I have found that Dallas is a wonderful place to live. It makes me question my future... I always felt that DOs were looked down upon, but I feel drawn to TCOM more everyday because of the location.
Today I found some free time after lunch to play a little ping pong and a little foosball :) Gotta find something to de-stress. I've noticed that I wear this white, silver-striped cardigan a lot. Totally worth it, cardigans are so versatile especially when its 100 degrees outside and 60 inside -.-
Finally found time to visit Katy Trails.
It is a beautiful park where people bring dogs, rollerblade, bike, and run. I ran/jog/walked about 2 miles? I couldn't really tell. I hope to run a half-marathon by the end of this year... hopefully I will start training outdoors this time instead of only on the treadmill. There were placemarkers all over the trails and signs of encouragement haha. I feel like I'm at mile 0 in life... I guess I'm just training for the marathon (medical school). I can't believe I will find out in January where I will spend the next 4 years of my life.
(Smile)
Came home, drank a Blue Hawaiian (jk its powerade) and I am about to finish these apps!
Hey, those mile markers are pretty cool! Haha
